Thespians

Thespians — The International Thespian Society (ITS) is the Educational Theatre Association’s student honorary organization.  We are Troupe #694.  Students gain membership in the society through participation in theatre arts. https://www.schooltheatre.org/internationalthespiansociety

VHSL and VTA

VHSL (Virginia High School League) — The Virginia High School League is an alliance of Virginia’s public and private schools that promotes education, leadership, sportsmanship, character and citizenship for students by establishing and maintaining high standards for school activities and competitions.  They hold clinics and competitions for sports and also for theatre, forensics and print publications. Conference level presentations usually occur in January.

VTA (Virginia Theatre Association) — A state theatrical association which holds a conference annually in October in various locations around Virginia.

Virginia Thespian Festival – The state chapter of the International Thespian Society which holds its state conference annually in January.

Robinson Secondary School Summer Drama Camps

Curtain Call (grades K-rising 6th) is a week long, half-day camp with a morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and an afternoon session from 1-4 p.m.
Fun In The Theatre (FITT) (grades K-rising 6th) is a week long, full day camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Stage Door Theatre Workshop (rising 7th – 9th) focuses on forming an ensemble where artists collaborate to create an original full length play.
Intro to Musical Theatre (rising 7th – 12th)  This camp is an introduction to various aspects of musical theatre such as history, choreography, vocal technique, various dance styles, and character/scene work.
Audition Boot Camp (rising 7th – 12th)  Our goal is to equip campers with the skills and tips necessary to prepare a more confident and successful audition!
